<br />he supposed it w~s expected he wo~mld be a candidate for re-electio~ to the position, but because he had
<br />enjoyed the honor for some years past, and for other reasons, he should have to decline a nomination
<br />for Vice-president if he were nominated.

<br />quirement tha~ warrants for payment of bills against the ~ity sh~ll be countersigned by. the presi-
<br />dents of the two branches.

<br /> The advisability of having all new ordinances or amended ordinances presented by the Ordinance
<br />0ommittee to lie on the table until the following regular meetings of the two branches.

<br /> The advisability of having all new business, except such as m~y be referred to committees, to
<br />lie on the table antil the~ following regular meetings of the two branches; and all new business to
<br />be submitted without discussion,

<br />The mdvisability of ~spensmng with or of combining the following committees:
