S. Query to be re-imb~sed to amount of S5- because of an erroneous assessment <br />of same for night soil tax on his property at the corner of Emmett a~d Green streets. <br /> It is recommended that the petition be granted. <br /> <br /> Referred by Bo~rd of Aldermen September 20th. <br /> A request of the ~Ire Board that the Secretary of said Board be paid $5- per It is recommended that the ~equest be not granted. <br /> <br /> ~eferred by ~ommon Oouncil Augus~ 9th. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $700. to pave Dinwiddie street, between Eerth and the Boulevard. Progress. <br /> An appropriation of $265. to pave Eorth street, between Dinwiddie and ~ashington. Progress. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $118.21 to pay a balance due Ossie D~shiell for plumbing in the jail. It is recommended that the appropriation be allowed. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $150. for a Tapper Auxiliary System. Progress. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of $50. for gu~m_boo~s and rubber coats for the Sixth a~d Seventh ~ard firemen. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> ~ appropriation of $1,200. for purchase of five horses fo~ the Fire Department. <br /> We do not deem it advisable to recommend an appropriation for purchase of five efficient <br />horses ~or the Fire Department before it is kno%mwhat the five inefficient horses in said department <br />can be sold for. <br /> <br /> An appropriation of ~llP.15 to pay for hose furnished the Fir~ Department by the ~U~ker City <br />Rubber Oompany. <br /> The purehaee of this hose was never authorized by the aounoil but was obtained through a <br />misunderstanding, However, as the hose was sold by the Quaker Oity Rubber Oompany to the Oity in <br />good faith and as it was needed by the Department, it is recommended that the bill for same be paid, <br />but that the Chief of the ~ire Department be cautioned to make no more purchases for the 0i~y~3atil <br />he is fully authorized so to do. <br /> <br /> Advisability of relieving householders in the Fifth Ward from payment of night soil tax for the <br />year l~10. Progress. <br /> <br /> -A bill of coroner, Dr. G. G. Ho!laday, to amount <br />lng July, 1910. <br /> It is recommended that the bill be paid. <br /> <br />of $20, <br /> <br />for holding inquests on four bodies dur- <br /> <br />To pay subscription price of $20. to the League of American Municipalities for 1910. <br /> It is recommended that said subscription be paid. <br /> <br />appropriation to assist the Salvation &~my in the City. Staples for defending a prisoner by order of the Oourt. <br /> It is recommended that the appropriation be allowed. <br /> <br />An pproprmatmon of $350. to purchase paving br~cks for repair of broken places in the Streets. <br /> It is recommended that the appropriation be allowed. <br /> <br /> An ap~roprmatmon of $d. 52 to re-imburse potieeman, H. 0.
