Traction 0ompany in regard to the part of work it is to do <br />under the new paving program. <br /> <br /> To draft a contract with E. Parks Lindsay and F. J. NeGuire For the street work they are to do <br />in the Sixth Ward. <br /> <br />To draft deeds for the lots lately sold in the 0edar ~rove cemetery. <br /> <br /> To take the necessary steps to aoa_uire for the City the "Armistead property" touching the Court <br />House yard. <br /> <br /> To instruct the Joint Pinanee Committee to turn over to the School Boa~d the proceeds from .the <br />sale of School Bonds. <br /> <br /> To extend te October ls%, if necessary, the time for the Commissioner of the Revenue to turn <br />over his Real Estate and Personal Property books. <br /> <br /> To.instruct the Treasurer to mdvertise for bids at:ones for redeeming$7,500, of Cemetery Bends, <br />the said bonds to be taken up by July 1, 1911. <br /> <br /> A resolution adopted by the Board of Aldermen Es2 t~th by ~nieh m member of the Finance uommzt- <br />tee is excluded from serving on ar~~ other committee than the Auditing Committee--amended by the Com- <br />mon Council by adding after "Auditing Committee"the words, "or speeiai eommitteg." <br /> <br />All of the ~oove were concurred in. <br /> <br />Second. Palmer ms a member of the Beard of Aldermen was read aud meeepted. <br /> ~, ~ittiams moved that the body go into an election to fill the v&eaney. The motion was <br />adopted. <br /> Whereupon: he nominated L. Ho Davis to fill amid vacancy, <br />he was elected by the following vote: <br /> Ayes--~Walker, Williams, <br /> ~ontague, ~urry, Nieholson~ <br /> <br />and there being ne other nominations <br />Bmllentine, Ad~ms~.Privett, <br /> <br /> ~r.
