June .20, 1911. To draft a contract with the N. & P. Traction 0ompany in regard to the part of work it is to do under the new paving program. To draft a contract with E. Parks Lindsay and F. J. NeGuire For the street work they are to do in the Sixth Ward. To draft deeds for the lots lately sold in the 0edar ~rove cemetery. To take the necessary steps to aoa_uire for the City the "Armistead property" touching the Court House yard. To instruct the Joint Pinanee Committee to turn over to the School Boa~d the proceeds from .the sale of School Bonds. To extend te October ls%, if necessary, the time for the Commissioner of the Revenue to turn over his Real Estate and Personal Property books. To.instruct the Treasurer to mdvertise for bids at:ones for redeeming$7,500, of Cemetery Bends, the said bonds to be taken up by July 1, 1911. Palmer ms a member of the Beard of Aldermen was read aud meeepted. ~, ~ittiams moved that the body go into an election to fill the v&eaney. The motion was adopted. Whereupon: he nominated L. Ho Davis to fill amid vacancy, he was elected by the following vote: Ayes--~Walker, Williams, ~ontague, ~urry, Nieholson~ and there being ne other nominations Bmllentine, Ad~ms~.Privett, ~r.
