Board of Aldermen. <br /> <br />Gen$1emen:-- Your Street Committee respectfully reports <br /> <br />herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Street Committee January 9-t1-16, <br /> <br />1912: <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council January 9th. <br /> <br />Authorized to, advertise for bids to pave Glasgow street~ <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> Authorized to advertise <br />South. Progress. <br /> <br /> Authorized to advertise <br />street. <br /> The City Engineer has been instructed to attend to <br /> <br /> from Godwin to the Scott Creek b=~dge. <br />for bids to pave with Betgan block, Chestnut street, from Glasgow ~o <br /> <br />for bids to put in serviceable condition the dock at the foot of High <br /> <br /> this. <br /> <br /> AutHorized ~o extend the contract with the Atlantic Bitulithic Co. <br />between Harrison and South. <br /> We report that action upon this matter is suspended. <br /> <br />to pave Washington street~, <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council January l!th. <br /> <br /> Advisability of paving Third street, between Harrison and Myths. <br /> The City Engineer has been requested to submit an estimate <br />walks of said street. <br /> <br />of the cost <br /> <br />of paving the side- <br /> <br /> A petition of S. Lasting and suncLry others, that Pearl street, south of County~ be put in pass- <br />able condition. <br /> We report that we are advised by the Sixth Ward Board that a contract has been made for <br />paving this streBt to the line of the Seventh Ward; and we are also advised by the Seventh Ward <br />Board that the p~rt of the street in the Seventh Nard will be repaired temporarily and tha~a con- <br />tract for permanen~ improvements will be advertised for as soon as the specifications can be pre- <br />pared. <br /> Referred by Board of Aldermen January 16th. <br /> <br />Recommitted. Paving ef Washington street, between Harrison and South, with bitulithic. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> Recommitted. Recommendation of the Committee in regard to making examination and tests of the <br />entire work done by the Bitulithic Paving contractors. Board <br /> <br />of Aldermen. <br /> <br />Gentlemen:-- Your Public Property Committee <br /> <br />respect- <br /> <br />fully reports herein concerning the following matters referzed to the Joint Public Property Commit- <br /> <br />tee January 9-11-16, 1912 and December 12, 1911: <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council January 9th. <br /> <br /> To consider the advisability of pu=chasing or leasing the old Seaboard office building~ on <br />Chestnut street, tc be used as a Central Police Station.
