Progress. Advicability of employing a rsaconable number of ~call men~ for the Fire Department. We think it advisable to ~ve a reasonable number of ~c&ll men~ for the Fire Department, but are not at this time prepared to make recommendation as to number of the same. To require the present paid men of the Fire Department to assist the Chief in examining all yards and the surroundings of buildings in the fire dictrict. It is recommended that thic ~tter be referred to the Chief of the Fire Department for his advice as~to same. Advisability of having the paid men of the Fire Department uniformed. Progress.
