Board of Aldermen. <br /> Gentlemen:-- Your Light Committee respect~ily reports here- <br />the following matters referred to the Joint Light Committee October 8-15 a~d January <br /> <br />16, 191E: <br /> Referred by Common Council October 8th. <br /> <br /> Advisability of installing a light in neighborhood of the boat house at Swimming Point. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> Referred by Board of Aldermen October 15th. <br /> <br /> Advisability of a light at the corner of London and Chestnut street. <br /> Ne recommended in ou~ last report that a light be placed at this ~orner, but through re- <br />request of a Councilman f~om the Third Nard, the report was ~hanged so as to install a light on <br />net. of Queen and Chestnut. Ne do not think that we should at this time recommend two lights in that <br />vicinity. Ne are of the opinion that our previous report, recommending a ~ight at Queen and Chest- <br />nut streets, will best serve the community, and, therefore~ report that we are not prepared to recom- <br />mend a light as requested. <br /> <br /> Advisability of placing a light a~ Green and King streets. Progress. <br /> <br /> Advisability of a light ~t the corner of Third and Nythe streets. <br /> We report that the Committee does not think a light is necessax~y at this point, there be- <br /> ing other places in the City much more in need of lights. <br /> <br /> Advisability of a light .at the corner of B and Hatton streets. Board~o f~Atdermen. <br /> <br />Gentlemen:~ Your Sewerage Committee respectf~ily reports <br /> <br />herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Sewerage Committee September 10 and <br /> <br />July ~18, 191~: <br /> Referred by Common Council September 10th. <br /> <br /> Advisability of laying sewer mains in Hunter~s~and Eastwood's lanes. <br /> It is ~ecommended that appropriations~of $Sll.
