A petition of the Young Men's Christian Association to be ad- vised upon what terms and conditions it could obtain the "Jail Lot." Progress. A request-of the Seventh Ward Board that the City make 5% notes to cover certain amounts due contractors for work completed in the Seventh Ward, pending the bond money being made available. We report that this matter is ~overed by'recommendation above. A request of the Seventh Ward Board that the City provide means to raise $5,000,00 Street improvements on Chestnut street, in the Seventh Ward. We report that this matter is in the hands of the Street Committee. A communication from AttorneyHarry A, Brinkley requesting action on petition Lawless for relief from paymenl of certain City taxes. Progress. A petition from Mrs. Mercer Watson to be refunded $~0.00 paid in error for taxes 1911. It is recommended that a special aporopriation to said amount be allowed for for the for permanent of Miss Elizabeth for the year this purpose, A bill of the Coz~oner to amount of ~0.00, for inquests held during August and Sentember~ It is recommended that an appropriation to said amount be allowed to pay the bill. ' A bill of the Treasurer to amount of $59.50 for State taxes on the Seaboard Market Building for year 1912. It is recommended that a special appropriation to said amount be allowed to pay the bill. It is recommended that the Clerk be advised to state what amount of records he wishes re- boun~d and probable cost of same. $200.00 to community.
