Langhorne wished to know what had become of the Special Gas Committee appointed some time <br />ago to take up the question of cheaper gas for the City and also question of a new franchise to fur- <br />nish the City with gas. <br /> He asked that this Committee be requested to take up these matters for consideration at <br />once, and the Committee was eo requested, <br /> <br /> Mr~ Williams moved to refer to Street Committee the advisability of curbing and guttering Caro- <br />line and~Stonewall streets, The motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> By the same~ that the Sewerage Committee consider the extending of City sewerage on Glasgow <br />street~ from Godwin street to the Bridge. The motion was adopted~ <br /> <br /> Mr. Langhorne called attention to the fact that there was a lot on Third street on which back <br />taxes are due for several years past, and he moved that the Public Property Committee and City At- <br />torney be instructed to take such steps as may be necessary to collect said taxes. <br /> The motion was adopted. <br /> <br />On motion, adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
