<br />Lincoln, ~rom Sixth street to Seventh war~ lzne, $3~000.00, Glasgow~ from Effing.ham to Hat,on, and
<br />from Godwmn to Scott C~eek Bridge, $18,501.00; ~ashingten, from North to South, SZB, OO0.O0; Queen,
<br />from Water to Crawford, ~ud east side of C~awford, from Queen to High, $4,500.00.
<br /> The Committee reports no action by it in this matter.

<br />$18.00 to place awnings to windows ~f office of the Clerk of Court.
<br /> It is recommended that ~ special appropriation to said amount be allowed for same.
<br />
<br />$300.00 for oreliminary work of segregating the white and colored races of-the City.
<br /> It is recommended that said amount be allowed from the Budget for 19i3.
<br />
<br /> Appropriations to place lights at' the following corners: Southwest corner of Sixth avenue a~d
<br />King street~ out of Sixth Ward funds; corner of Chestnut and London streets; and corner of Third and
<br />Wythe streets.
<br /> It is recommended that an appropriation be allowed for the light at the corner of Chestnut
<br />and London streets, out of appropriation to Lights. The other recommended lights will be considered
<br />for the Budget of 1914.
<br />
<br />$300.00 to be set aside as an "emergency fund" for the Board of Police Commissioners.
<br />We report that t~is appropriation will be ~onsideredfar the Budget of 191~.
<br />
<br /> To allow in the Bud'get for 1914 an appropriation to increase the Police force by two "plain
<br />clothes" men.
<br /> We report that an appropriation for this purpose will be considered for the B~dget of 19i4.
