<br /> It is further recommended that the Treasurer be authorized to borrow $55,000.00, or as
<br />much of the same as may be necessary, in order to refund the Paving Bond Account~and~t?~t the
<br />following resolution be~ adopted therefor:
<br /> Resolved~ That the: Treasurer be, and he is hereby,
<br />authorized to make notes in The Bank of Portsmouth, The Merchantst & Farmers' Bank, the Bank of
<br />Tidewater, and The First'National Ba~ of Portsmouth, to amount of Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
<br />($55,000.00), in order to re-imburse the Paving Bond funds to that amount; said amount to be re-
<br />paid from revenues of the City for the current year.

<br />rison and Fayette.

<br />paving work.
