<br /> Re-referred. A bill of $48~00 for rent of a hall in the Seventh Waz~t, for use of the An-
<br />nex Fire Company.
<br /> We report that this~bitl is being held up by the Committee, pending an interview con-
<br />cerning it with the former Chief of the Fire Department.
<br />
<br /> $1~0.00 for pay of an expert engineer to furmish plans and specifications for the proposed
<br />Gosport and Swimming Point bridges.
<br /> Believing that the City Engineer should be fully competent te attend to this work, it
<br />is recommended that the appropriation be not allowed.
<br />
<br />$720.00 for paving the south side of High street, between Effingham a~d Chestnut. Progress.
<br />
<br /> $675.00 for the paving of Third street.
<br /> This matter is being held up by the
<br />Committee concerning the game.

<br /> It is recommended that the amount be allowed,
