<br />up Cooke street, between King and High streets, received with your letter of Nov.. Beth, advis-
<br />ing that at a meeting of the Board of Aldermen on Nov. Elst: 1911 the .matter had been referred
<br />to the Sixth Ward Local Board for action-- in connection with which I beg to state that the
<br />proposal meets the approval of the Local Board and t~at $50.00 has been appropriated for carry-
<br />ing out the arrangements wP~n approved by the City Council.

<br />ure. This the Seaboard is willing to grant; ~ud I am enclosing herewith a form of resolution
<br />which covers the arrangement~ and i suggest that the same be ~sed in accepting the Seaboard's
<br />offer. This will do away with the necessity for any formal contract.

<br />The resignation of R. S. Brooks as a member of this body was read and accepted.

<br />Brinson moved that the Public Property Committee be instructed to take up w~th the
<br />Supervisors the question of dividing the court-house more conveniently between'the
<br />C~unty. The motion was adopted.

<br /> The Chairman of the Street Committee stated that the Seaboard Air Line Ry. Company had
<br />agreed to a movement of their tracks somewhat Westward of the present line on Fire% street~
<br />and would pay their proportionate part.of pavement o~ sai~ street, but that, as some.propert~
<br />~olders along the line might object to the approach of the tracks towards them, he wo~ld of-
<br />fer the following resolution to cover the matter:
<br /> "Resolved~ That the Street Committe$, through
<br />the o~fice of the City Engineer~ be authorized to present an agr~emen~ to ~he proper~y owner.s
<br />in First street and for their signature, protectin~ the Seaboard Air Line Ry. COm~an~fromsUit

<br />cessitated by the contemplated improvements in First street."
