R. C. P. February Mr; HaWks.moved that:a ~Com~it~e~_on;Arrangements,. consisting of three, two from the Com- mon Council and one from the board of Aldermen, be appoihted to make the necessary arrangements for said trip. The motion w~s adopted~ and Eessre. Hawks and Brinson were appointed on said Committee from this body, On motion of Mr. Reynolds, the Fire Committee was instructed to make report at the next meeting of Council in regard to building a fire company house on Lincoln street. ~r, H~wks moved that a Committee of Five be appointed to confer with a similar committee from the Business Men,s Association in reference to the erection of a Dr~ Dock in the Navy Yard. The motion ~as adopted. And on motions, the following other matters were referred to-- Finance Committee-- An order of Court to relieve W. S. Griffin, administrator of estate of Joseph H. Pa.~er,~* decea~ed, from payment of ~75.00 of City taxes, said taxe~ having been erroneously assessed against him. A request o~ the Board of Health for an additional appropriation of $150,00 annually, for the colored Anti-tuberculosis Lea=~ue. A communication' from the City of Cleveland in regard to the coinage of a three-cent piece. (With Sewerage). A request of the employees, of the Sewerage Power House for an increase of pay, A request of the Treasurer to borrow $~0,000.00 to meet City expenses' for Narch, 1912. Bond of Deputy City Collector for year beginning January l, 1912, An appropriation to put two more h~drants in the Oak Grove Cemetery~ out of appropriation for same in. the "budget" for 1912. An appropriation to connect ~p certain parts of the sewerage line in the Fifth Ward, not connected. $5~5..00 for rubber coats and boots in the "budget" for 191E. To make available the following appropriations allowed in the "budget, for lgl2: for paving High street, between Effingham and Chestnut~ $5&0,00 for paving Race avenue. Street Committee-- ReGuests of Dr. Joseph Guthrie for the establishment of a small boat harbor, and for an improvement to condition of approaches to West Parkv',zew, by Wilson avenue and Spratley street. A petition of Whit Wilkins for improvement to condition of Race avenue, between Washington and Green streets. A request of f,adies' Board of .~.anagsrs of Kings Daughters' Hospital for pavement of Em- mett street, from Green to Chestnut. Advisability of paving in front of Union Fire Company's house. Public Property Committee-- thoroughly overhauled. A request of the Union Fire hall. A petition of Independent Fire Company that their house be Company for a feed room at the north end of present firemants Ordinance Committee-- Advisability of amending or revising the ordinance relating to the duties of the Wood Measurer. Adyieability of an ordinance to give anyone the privilege of tunneling ufider the side- walks, from the building line to the curb line of the street. Claims Committee-- Claim of Mrs. W. R. Darden, who was injured by stepping into a hole in the b~ardwalk on High street, Cottage Place. On motion, adjourned.
