Mr. Parker moved that th~ advisability of providing a penalty of a fine or imprisonment~ or both, against anyone turning in a false alarm of ~ire, either through the boxes, telephone~ or in any manner whatsoever, be submitted to the Ordinance ~and Fire Committees, ~ointly, to draft a suitable ordinance to cover same. The motion was adopted. Foxwell and sundry others to have paved sidewalks on Harrison street, between Fifth and Sixth~ A petition of Dr. Joseph Grice to ha~e paved with granolith the east side of Chestnut street, from High to King. Fire Committee-- R~les and regulations for government of the Fire Department. A petition of L. P.
