Gentlemen:~ Your Public Property Committee respect- fully reports herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Public Property Com- mittee July 9-18, 191Z: Referred by Common~ Council July 9th. Requested to report on a communication of the Hook & Ladder fire company concerning con- dition of their quarters. We report that we have examined the quarters of said Company, and recommend that an appropriation of $500.00 be allowed to make necessary changes for the Hook & Ladder ~d Chambers fire companies. Gentlemen:-- ¥~r FLre Com~mittee respeotful'ly reports herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Fire Committee June 14 and February 19lB: Referred by Common Counc&l J~ue 14th. A petition of L. P. Slater, Jr., to be paid $18.00 for time lost from duty as fireman, on account of an injured arm. It is recommended that said petition be granted. (With-Ordinance Committee). Advisability of the permanent employment of all paid men of the Fire Department. It is recommended that the positions of all paid men of the Fire permanent, and that an ordinance be b~ought in to cover same, which ~ ts passage. Referred by Board of Aldermen February BOth.
