<br />of the Board of Water Commissioners can be purchased and at what price.

<br /> To instruct the Cit~ Attorney to bring a friendly ?air against the Virginia Railway & Power
<br />Comnany to recover funds ~aid by the Sixth Ward for paving between~tracksof the Company on Coun-
<br />ty street.

<br /> To instruct the Ferry Committee to get in communication with the Board of Supervisors of
<br />Norfolk County ~nd ascertain upon what terms or for what Dries it will sezl o the City Norfolk
<br />County's interest in the Ferries property.

<br />referred tG the Finance committee to furnish data regarding size of said prooer~y and cost of
<br />apwroach to same through the Emmerson property on Cour~ street.

<br /> To refer to special Committee of Five the matter of excitation of franchise granted the
<br />Portsmouth Gas Company by the Citv, and to take such s~eDs as m~y be necessary in regard to same.

<br /> To appoint a Committee of Five to investigate as soon as practicable the irregularity in
<br />deooeitin~ money From the sale of'bonds ~ud reoort to a joint session of the Council the result
<br />of their findings.
