Municipal Septen~ber 13~ 1994 Finance Commission Joyce Wallace to be appointed to fill a term of four years, ending July 1, 1998, replacing Harry Bailey. Supplemental Retirement Board Arthone Drisdom, Sr. to be reappointed to a four year term, ending October 1, 1998. BOCA Fire Code of Appeals Steven Fry to be reappointed to a five year term, ending October 1, 1999. Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, to close the nominations, and there being no further nominations, the above were approved by unanimous vote. 94-368 Items Submitted by Council Members Councilman Martin requested a report on the facilities which could be open after school hours by September 27, 1994 as a follow-up to the joint School Board meeting. 94-369 - Receipt of Other Communications There were no other communications. 94-370 Continued Non-Agenda Speaker There were no other speakers. Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, into Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia for the following: to go (1) Consideration or discussion of a personnel matter involving the Public Information Office, as permitted under Subsection (A) (1); The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. Motion of Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and (2) Only such public business matters as were identified in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City Council.
