<br /> It is recommended that the request be granted, and that the following resolutions be
<br />adopted therefor:
<br /> '. Resolved, That the Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized to make notes
<br />in The Bank of Portsmouth, The ~erchants' & Farmer~' Bank, the Bank of Tidewater, and The First
<br />National Bank of Portsmouth, to am°u~ of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), to meet
<br />Current Expenses for Narch, 1914; sazd amount to be repaid from~revenues of the Oity for the
<br />o~rre~t year.
<br /> Resolved, That. the Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized ~o make notes
<br />in The Bank of Portsmouth, The Merchants' & Farmers'.Bank, the Bank of Tidewater~ and The First
