<br /> Resolved, That the Treaeumer be, and he is hereby, authorized to make notes
<br />in The Bank of Portsmouth, The Nerche~ute' & Farmers' Bank, the Bank of Tidewater, .and The First
<br />National Bank of Portsmouth, to amount of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,~00.00), to meet School
<br />Expenses for the month of ~i~y, 1914) said a~ount to be repaid from revenues of the City for the
<br />otL~rent year.
<br /> A request of S. O. Rountree to have warrant No. 8~,587 for $8.75 renewed, said
<br />having been lost.
<br /> It is recommended that the Auditor be authorized to issue a warrant to S. 0. Rountree
<br /> for said amount~ taking the usuml securities for same.
<br /> To provide an additional sznount of $1S0. for increase of pay of paid men of the Fire De-
