Common Council--Board of Aldermen. <br /> <br />Gentlemen:-- Your Light Committee respect- <br /> <br />fully reports herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint Light Committee May <br /> <br />1915: <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council Nay llth. <br /> <br />To consider the advisability of a light near one end of the Gosport Bridge. <br /> Progress as to same. <br /> <br /> Attention called to bad condition of the City lights, and especially at the corners of Ef- <br />fingham and Bart and Chestnut and Bar~ streets. <br /> We report that the condition of City lights is bad, but we can not remedy same until <br />a machine for testing lights is purchased. <br /> (Signed) S.B. Matters adopted by the Common Council May ltth and refer~ed to the Board of Alder- <br />men for concurrence. <br /> <br />To authorize the Treasurer to renew notes to amcr~nt of SBa, B00. falling due in June, 1915. <br /> <br /> To appoint a ~peoial Committee to consider changes necessary in the Plumbing Ordinances, <br />~so as to provide for better sanitary plumbing. <br /> <br /> To authorize the Street Committee to use at once one-sixth of its appropriation allowed in <br />the Budget. <br /> <br /> To authorize the'Fire Committee to sell.or otherwise dispose of disabled horses in the Fire <br />Department, when the Committee may believe it necessary so to do. <br /> <br /> <br />
