<br /> The report of the Co~tmittee having been read, Mr. Davis moved that the ordinance'with re-
<br />gard to Redistricting the City be recommitted for further consideration.
<br /> Mr. NarkS,m contended that the motion by Mr. Davis was out of order, because the ordinance
<br />had been reported at theprevious meeting of the body and had been ordered to .lie on the table
<br />for thirty days, and the report should now be considered on its merits.
<br /> After some considerable discussion of the matter, the motion to recommit was adopted and
<br />by the-following vote:
<br /> Ayes--Langhorne, Walker, Ballentine, Adams, Niiliams: Davis, Murry,
<br /> Pile, 8.
