<br /> The minutes of the regular meeting March l?th were read and were approved.
<br /> When the minutes of the Joint Session March 16th were read, Nm. Markham objected to the en-
<br />try in regard to increase of pay of firemen, as he said the entry ought to ShSw:that the increase
<br />begins from January lsd, instead of April let.
<br /> ~ The Clerk.stated, mn reply, that ~e did not make such entry because the Councils themselves
<br />dmd not state when the pay should begmn.
<br /> After some further discussion of the matter, the records stood approved by announcement
<br />from the Chair.

<br />Reports of the Auditor, Treasurer, and Sixth and Seventh Ward Boards for February, 1914.
<br /> Progress as to same.
<br />
<br /> A report of the Auditor of funds needed to take up coupons due April let, to amount of
<br />$~,490. for the C~y Proper and$1,965.S5 f~r the Sixth and Seventh Wards each.
<br /> It is xe~eomme~ded that an approprmation of $~,490. be allowed for taking 9are of City
<br />coupons; and that $1,968.~5 be advanced to the Sixth and Seventh Wards each for takzng oazs of
<br />their coupons, said amounts to be repaid to the City by the said Wards with interest.
<br />
<br /> A petition of Ida C. Birdsong to be refunded $1.89~ paid in error for soil tax for the year
<br />1913.
<br /> It is recommended that said amount be refunded, out of Sixth Ward funds.
<br /> A request of the Sixth Ward Board that the City advance it $1,800. to enable it to take up
<br />certain bills due by said Board.
<br /> We report that this request is provided for in $1,750. allowed to'take up pas~ due
<br />bills of the Ward by. the Councils March 17-31st. ....
