<br /> Ne further report having advertised fo'r bids for the award of the contract for con-
<br />structing concrete sidewalks on the south side ef Anne street, from Owens +~o Armstrong streets,
<br />and on the north side of Randolph street, from First to Second streets, and received one bid
<br />only, and that from Mr. A. F. Flynn at $1.00 per Square yard for the sidewalks, and.$.5? per
<br />lineal foot for combined concrete curb and gutters, and we, therefore,~oommend t~t the con-
<br />tract be awarded to M~. Flynn at these prices, for the pavement ~n the south side of Anne street,
<br />from Ownes to Armstrong stree~, and on Randolph street (north slde),~fromFi~st to Second
<br />streets, and for the construction of a concrete curb and gutter on bo~h sides of Oaroline street,
<br />west of G~een street. The work to be done in accordance with specifications prepared by the
<br />City Engineer, at a cost not-to exceed the ~mounts now available for this work.

<br /> The report having been read, ~tr, Davis discussed the proposed pavement, of sidewalks with
<br />concrete and the construction of concrete curb and gutter. He said he thought something more
<br />permanent than concrete should be used for guttering and he moved that the recommendation with
<br />regard to said pavement be recommitted. The motion was adopted.
