November 17~ 1914. A petition of C. R. ~eiton and Virginia C. Warner to be refunded $1.80 paid in error for night soil tax for the year 1914, in the Sixth Ward. It is recommended that said petition be granted, and the amount paid out of Sixth ~ard funds. A petition of Wm. B. Taylor to be refunded $1.80 paid in error for night soil tax in the Seventh Ward. It is recommended that said'petition be granted, and the amount paid out of Seventh Ward funds. To make available to Public Property Department as much of $364.01 allowed in the Budget f~r "Unapproved Bills" as is unexpended. It is reco~mended that the amount be made available as requested. An appropriation not in excess of $Z5. to have rules for printed. It is recommended that a special appropriat~ion, not the purpose named. the government of the Council tn exceed $Z5.00, be allowed for An appropriation of $17 5. for re-arrangement of the Fire Alarm System. It is recommended that a. special appropriation of $175.- be allowed for the purpose named, and_to repair police telephone wires requested in section above. As. formerly the Mayor was required to give bond for $1,000. because of his collection of fines imposed and the collect4on of such ~ines has now been transferred to the Police Jus- tice, it is recommended that the Police Justice be required to give the bond previously req~iCred of the Mayor. ~ (Signed) E.L.
