W. Cart, the Sanitary Inspector.was instructed to compel the owners of lots <br />where stables of the Dalby, Nottingham Co. were burned to clean said lots and put them in a <br />sightly condition, as provided in sections P~6 and 442 of the City Code. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Cart, the attention of the .Police Committee was called to the fact that <br />substitute policemen are performing part of the duty of the License Inspector and suggested <br />that the pay of one or the other of these officers should be stopped. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fiournoy moved to refer to the Street Committee to consider t~ advisability of sell- <br />ing the steam roller now owned by the ~City, and of purchasing a smaller one or exchanging for <br />a new one.
