R. C, P, APril Public Docks Committee respectfully reports herein concerning the .following matters referred to the Joint Ferries & Public Docks Committee January iZth, 1915: Referred by Common Council January IEth. To take into consideration use of the north end of Mid~le street for a public dock. It is recommended that the City Attorney be instructed to give his written opinion as to the rights of the City to use the north end of Middle street for a public dock. (Signed) G~over C. Matters adopted by the Board of Aldermen March 16th and referred to the Common Council for concurrence. To appoint a Committee of Five, two from the Board of Aldermen and ~hree from the Common Council, to consider the advisability of submitting to the voters of the City for their signa- tures two or more plans for Cit~ Government, as provided for by Acts of the General Assembly. Concurred in. T? appoint a Committee.of Five, two from the Board of Aldermen and three from the Common CounciL, to consider the~advisability of the City purchasing the property of the Portsmouth, Berkley & Suffolk Water Company at the expiration of its contract with the City. To appropriate $E5.00 to the City Mission Board to defray expenses for maintaining white children given into the hands of the "white probation officer," who is Captain of the Salvation Army.
