R. C. P, <br /> <br />August 17, 1915. <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of. the Board of Aldermen August 17th there were present: <br /> <br /> Nessrs--L. H. ~avis, President, C. N. ~arkham, Vice-President, <br /> M. B. Langhorne, E. L. Barlow, Lorem~-$Carr, J. H. Wilson, <br /> Henry Pile, 7. <br /> <br />The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting July 21st were read and were approved. <br /> <br /> REPORT8 OF COMMITTEES. <br /> Auditing-- <br /> The Auditor reported having examined bills against the City for the month of <br /> <br />July, 1915, and recommended payment of the same $o the following amounts: $4,~$.04 for the <br />City Proper; $51.05 for the Sixth Ward; and $8~.4~ for the Beventh Ward. <br /> <br /> On motion, the bills were allowed and by the following vote: <br /> Ayes--Davis, Markham, <br /> Langhorne, Barlow, Cart, Wilson, Pile, ?. <br /> <br /> The next report in order was Finance, but it was observed that there was not a sufficient <br />number of memb~r~ p~eeent to act on sa~d report. ~ <br /> Bo, on motxon, it was passed by te~porariiy. <br /> <br /> Thereupon, the report of the Street Oommittee was taken up and read as .follows: <br /> Hon. Common oouncil--Board of Aldermen. <br /> Gentlemen:-- Tour Street Committee respectful- <br /> <br />ly reports herein concerning the following matters referred to the Joint ~treet Committee July <br /> <br />13-21 and April 13, <br /> <br />Referred by Common Council July 13th. <br /> <br /> For work to be done under the supervision of the Street Committee on County street, Sixth <br />Ward; $1,000. having bee~ allowed for said work out of Sixth Ward Bond Account. <br /> Progress as to same.. <br /> To ascertain if the cost $f teams for use of the Cemeteries can not be obtained for the <br />same price as .on the streets. <br /> We rep~r~ that we are trying to arrange for teams for use of the Cemeteries for the <br />same price as on,the streets. <br /> To take~.~up %he matter of opening the drains in the rea~ of O. L.
