<br />with the ~aboard Air Line Ry.. and the Atlantic Coast Terminal Company for the use of property
<br />owned by them, fronting approximately 140 feet on North Cou~t street, commencing at the water,
<br />said property to be u~ed as a park or playground for small children; if ~ae of said ground cam
<br />be secared without cost to the City as rental, said agreement being executed after same has Been
<br />approved by the City Attorney.
<br /> In connection with same, a communication was read from J. W. H. Porter, in which he
<br />advised against the use of.esi6 grounds ~or park purposes, givingseveral reasons against the
<br />uae. When, on moti~ of Mr. Langhorne, the matter .was referred to the Park Commission to

<br /> The Mayor's Annual Message for the Year 1914 was presented and was referred to the Finance
<br />committee for publication; and the several recommendations therein were referred to their appro-
