October 20; 1915. <br /> <br />a little more diligent in looking out for wagon licenses and the building of houses without per-- <br />mits. The motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Langhorne, the Street Committee was instructed to take up with the Board <br />of Supervisors of Norfolk County the question of the O~nty bearing its proportion of expenses <br />for improving.the approaches to the Ferry. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cart moved to refer to Finance Committee an appropriation of $300. to provide bedding <br />for jail prisoners. The motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Care, the Public Property Committee was instructed to look after repairs <br />to the roof of the Jail and its wate~ and sewerage system.~ <br /> <br /> Mr. Markham moved to refer to Finance Committee the question of collecting ta~es semi-an~ <br />nual!y. The motion was adopted~ <br /> <br /> On motion of Nr. Langhorne, the advisability of paving Crawford street on one or both sides <br /> from High to London, was referred to the Joint Street Committee. <br /> <br /> Mr. Privett moved to refer to Finance Committee with Ordinance Committee ~o provide in the <br />~Budget o£ 1916 for a permanent License Inspector. The motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> Mr. ~rivett brought up the question of a voting precinct for the Second Wa~d, mentioning <br /> the City Collector's office as a suitable place, said office having been heretofore~used for <br /> same. <br /> The matter was discussed and finally, on motion of Mr. Langhorne~ the City Collector was <br /> instructed to vacate his office~ if necessary, for said election to be held. <br /> <br />On motion~ adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
