<br />mended, to pave Washington street, from High to Harrison, all the way across and the remainder
<br />of the street as p~opoeed by the Committee.

<br /> Mr. Markham moved that Fifth street be paved from Fayette to Jefferson. Referred to
<br />the Street Committee.
<br /> Mr. Barlow moved that Washington street, from F~mpton Place to North street, be paved.
<br /> Referred to the Street Committee.
<br /> Er. Car~ moved that King street, from Court to Washington, be~paved with blocks taken
<br />from other streets; and that the Street Committee tak~ under consideration the condition of First
<br />street, from South to B~ythe. Referred to the Stree~ Committee.

<br />iic Property & Schools Committee respectfully reports herein concerning the following matters
<br />referred to the Joint Public Property & Schools Committee November 9, 1915:
<br />
<br /> Referred by Common Council November 9th.
<br />
<br /> A petition of the School Board for permission to erect two temporary strUctures for school
<br />houses on the Old Jail Lot, because of the large ~uticipated increase in the High School enroll-
<br />ment on February let.
<br /> It is recommended that the houses be built on the Jail Lot, and that the same be sent
<br />to the Ordinance Committee.
<br />
<br />Advisability of selling the playground.
<br /> We report that we do not deem it advisable to sell the playground.
<br />
<br /> Advisability of building an annex to the High School on King street.
<br /> It is recommended that this matter be referred to the Finance Committee and the School
<br />Board.
<br /> It is further recommended that the Auditor be~authorized to pay for work on the heatingI
<br />~lant at the City. Jail, when bills for same are approved by the Public Property Committee.
<br />
<br /> Ne report further that we have made the usual advertisement to furnish the Public
<br />Buildings of the' City with coal and the City Jail with wood for the year 191S; and have received
<br />the following bids therefor:
