Gentlemen:-- Your Street spectfuliy reports herein concerning the following matters referred To the Joint te:e September i4-E1, 1915: Committee re- Street Commit- Referred by Common Council September 14th. A petition of the S~ven~h Ward Board to be allowed a special a~propriation of $~5. of the Permanent=Improvement Fund, to be used as follows~~ ~$B~O. for pm~e line in Prentis Park; $150. for pip~ lin~ at Lincoln and Washington streets; $~JO0. for repairs to concrete corners on paved streets; and eE~B. for repairs to holes in paved streets. It is recommended that sai~ appropriation be allowed. A ps, etlon of the Sixth Ward Board to have Fifth and Sixth avenues ditched and graded at a cost of $~5.00, out of Sixth Ward Bond. Account. It is recommended that said petition be granted, as a~k~d for. Referred by Board of Aldermen September Elst. A petition cf Wm. H. Armistead to be re-imbursed to amount of $500. for damages to his property caused by draim pipe running through the block bounded by Scott, Effingham, Duke and Chestnut streeta,~ ~hie pipe being stopped up; and also asking that s~id drain be opened. Progress. To consider for the Budget of 1918 paving with plastic pavement two blocks between Clifford and Wythe streets; and also the paving of Lincoln street, from ington. Progress. on the causeway Sixth to Wash- Advisability of paving Washington street; to cOnsider for the Budget of 1916 the paving of Fifth street, between Fayette and Jefferson; to consider paving Queen street, between Crawford and Water; paving Effingham street, between County and Clifford; paving Cooke street; paving North street, between Chestnut and Hatton, and paving Chestnut street, from North to Glasgow. Progress on all of the same. Condition of the drain at the junction of Queen amd Water streets. We report that the City Engineer has been instructed to send a man to examir~e the condition. to this location (Wit!h Finance Committee) Curbing the south side of Wythe street, between Third and Fourth; and west side Of Thizd, between Harrison and Wythe. We report that an appropriation for this work will be recommended for the Budget of 1916. To look into the advisability of building a dle street, and report on same for the Budget of 19t6.
