<br /> In connection with'the recommendation with regard to building a conduit across the south
<br />end of Dinwiddie street, a communication was read from J. F. Benson, engineer, with regard to
<br /> Nr. Noore (Joe. S.) moved that the recommendation of the Committee with regard to said
<br />conduit be adopted and th~t._the appropriation for same be referred to the Finance Committee.
<br /> The motion was adopted.
<br />
<br />The matter of extending Hatton street to High was discussed by Nr. Moore (Jos. S.) and
<br />several others. Then Nrc Reynolds moved to amend, that Hatton s~reet be not opened at this time.
<br /> The amendment was adopted by a vote of ll to 5.
<br />
<br /> Then the report of the Committee was adopted, as amen. ded, and by the following ~ ·
<br />the several recommended appmgpriations, with the exception of $20,000. to open Hatton street,
