<br />aud Schools Committee in reference to the purchase of certain property for the purpose.of erect-
<br />ing a High School Building for white child~ven at a cost ofI $1~,500~ whether the report was a-
<br />dopted by the vo~e as ~nounced by the Pres. pro. tem,, Mr, L~nghorne, viz: 'seven votes by
<br />members of the Bos~vd of Alde~,~en representing the five old wa~ds of the City and one vote cast

<br />those matters to which there was no objection. The motion was adopted.
