<br />fitting, or either, in s~iditmon to the merchants tax required by this ordinance, $25.00.

<br /> Each person, firm or corporation conducting a $~rage for The storage and repair of automo-
<br />biles, $75°00; for the repair of automobiles only, $25.00; or ~gent fo~ the ss~le of automobiles,
<br />resident or non-resident, $Y5o00.
<br /> Each private automobile, $5. for 20 horsepower or less; $10.00 for over 20 horsepower.
<br /> Each motorcycle, $2,50.
<br />
<br /> All building and loan-~assooiations, other than those heretofore provided for, $100.00.
<br />
<br /> Each resident or non-resident automobile for hire, $20.00, aud it shall be in lieu of all
<br /> other Cl~y license tax. thereon.
<br />
<br /> E~oh moving picture show, where the admission fee is fide.cents or tess, $75.~0, or $20.'

<br /> The tax on Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property for the First, Second, Third, Fourth
<br /> and ~ifth Wards of the City shall be $1.50 on the hundred dollars of assessed v~lues thereof
<br /> for General ~urpose~, and $.50 on the ~u~dred doZlars for Public .Schools; and the tax on Intan-
<br /> gible Peraonal Property shall be $.30 on the hundred dollars.
<br /> The tax on Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property for the Sixth and Seventh Wards
<br /> shall be $1.59 on the hundred dollars of the assessed values thereof; andthe tax on Intaugible
<br /> Personal Property shall be $~30 on the hundred~ dollars~
<br />
<br /> Any person failing to pay the taxes on Real,nd Personal Property, imposed by this ordi-
<br />nauoe~ on or before the 3let d~y e£ October, shall incur a penalty of 2 per?ont, onthe amount
<br />icl ss~td taxes', which s~ll be added to said tmxes by the City Oolleotor; and a fuk~her penalty
<br />of 3 Per cent. should ~id taxes be not paid by December 31st, which shall likewise be s~ided
<br />by. the City Collector.

<br /> With regard to the recommended License Tax Ordinance for the Year 1916-17, Mr. Hanvey
<br />moved that sams be read and adopted by sections. The motion was mdopted.

<br /> The License Tax sections were adopted consecutively to sectign ~h =eg~rdto tax on
<br />private automobiles, when Mr..Wright (Earl H.) moved a fla~ tax of $5. on all automobiles with-
<br />out regard to horse power. The motion was adopted.
<br /> Then the remaining sections were adopted consecutively, and finally the whole, was
<br />adopted, as a~ended, and by the following vote:
