<br /> Mr. Markham oa~lled attention to section 5 of the contract concerning the question of ap-
<br />prs~sers being hydraulic engineers, s~ud moved to refer to the Water & Sewerage Committee the
<br />~dvisability of said engineers being from this City. The motion was ~dopted.

<br /> He moved aisc to refer to the Water & Sewerage Comznittee the question of urmeeessary waste,
<br />referred to in the contract. The motion was mdopted.
<br />
<br /> Finally, Mr. Moore (Joe. S.) moved that the whole contract, including all amendments, be
<br />referred to the Water & Sewerage Commztt~e, the Water Commission, ~nd the City Attorney; that
<br />the full terms of ~'=
<br /> ~n~ contract be advertised; a~d that public meetings be held in order that
<br />the public may be heard on the subject. The motion was adopted.

<br />new Hi~n School and colored School buildings; said amount to be included in the bond issue for
<br />Schools, but to be turned into generml funds when bonds are sold.
<br /> We report that we shall arrange to borrow the $25,000. when s~me shall have been con-
<br />curred in by the Board of Aldermen.
