<br /> Dr. Parrish stated that there is needed an appropriation of $200. for'expenses of the
<br />· ¢emete'ries for "Labor~ for the remainder of the year, and he moved that $40. cZ same be made
<br />available at once and $160'. be referred to the Finance Department.
<br /> The motion was adopted.
<br />
<br /> The Chair gave notice of the meeting of the City Managers Association at Springfield, Mass.,
<br />for the week beginning Tuesday, November 21st, and he said, as said Association will deal large-
<br />ly with 'the Gene=al Manager Form of Government, he thought it might be desirable to send dele-
<br />gmtes from the Council to it; and the 'Council so expressed its desire.
<br /> Whereupon, Mr. Herbert moved that the Chair, and a member to be appointed by him, be
<br />delegated to said Association, and that the Finance Committee be instructed to provide em ap-
<br />propriation to cover their expenses.
<br /> The motion was adopted and by the following vote:
