Mor~, <br /> <br />The minutes of the regular meeting April 10th were read and were approved, <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF DEPART~E~TS <br /> <br />The Vice-Chairman submitted the following verbalrepor~.~- <br /> <br />Referred April 10th, <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the City ~an~ger that ~n ordinance be drafted requiring that all ice <br />wagons be equipped with scales, <br /> It is recommended that the following ordinance be adopted to cover same: <br /> An Ordinance <br />Requiring Retail Ice DealerS, to Eeep Standard Scales ~nd to Weigh Ice Sold by Them, <br /> <br /> It is recommended further that the following ordinance be adopte~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO <br />A~END AND RE-ORDAIN SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE ALL P~RSONE TO <br />OBTAIN FROE THE CITY ENGINEER A PEP~IT TO OPEN OR DIG UP THE STREETS OF THE CITY, TO REQUIRE <br />APPLICATIONS TO BE MADE TO THE CITY ENGINEER FOR THE PRiVILEGE; TO FIX A SCHEDULE OF CHARGES <br />FOR THE PRIVILEGE; ~D TO REQUIRE OF EACH APPLICANT A BOND TO SAVE F~B2~LESS TF~ CITY FROE IN- <br />JURIES RESULTING ~ROE THE NEGLIGenCE OF THE ~PLICANT." <br /> <br />C.
