Morgan, 6. <br /> <br />The minutes of the re~lar meeting Aprii 10th ~ere read mhd wore approved, <br /> REPORTS OF DEP~RTEENTS <br />Law-- <br /> The Vice-Chairman submitted the following ve_oal repo~t: <br /> <br /> Referred April 10th, <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the City ~an~ger that an ordinance be drafted requiring that all ice <br />wagons be equipped with scales, <br /> It is recommended that the following ordinance be adopted to cover same: <br /> An Ordinance <br />Requiring Retail Ice Dea~lers~.to Keep Sta~ud~rd Scales and to ~eigh Ice Sold by Them, <br /> <br /> It is recommended further that the following ordinance be adopte~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO <br />AEENDAND RE-ORDAiN SECTION 2 OF ~ORDINANCE ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE ALL PERSONS TO <br />OBTAIN FROM THE CITY ENGINEER A P~REIT TO OPEN OR DIG UP THE STREETS OF THE CITY, TO REQUIRE <br />APPLICATIONS TO BE NADE TO THE CITY ENGINEER FOR THE PRIVILEGE; TO FIX A SC~ULE OF CHARGES <br />FOR THE PRIVILEGE; AND TO REQUIRE OF EACH APPLICANT A BOND TO SAVE HAB~ESS THE CITY FRO~ IN- <br />JURIES RESULTING.
