September 24, 2002 <br /> <br /> (a) A site plan shall be submitted and must be approved by the Director of <br />Planning and Inspections prior to occupancy. <br /> <br /> (b) The Commission of Architectural Review must approve any exterior <br />changes to the building prior to installation or construction of the changes. <br /> <br /> (c) Trash disposal for the facility shall be in accordance with a trash and <br />refuse plan approved by the City Department of General Services prior to <br />commencement of operations. Any change to the approved plan must be submitted to <br />the Director of General Services or his designee and approved prior to implementation <br />of the change. <br /> <br /> (d) The facility shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal <br />regulations including required inspections, and all required permits and licenses and <br />licenses shall be obtained and maintained in effect.. <br /> <br /> (¢) The facility's hours of operation shall be 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Saturday. <br /> <br /> 4. There is no local match required. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />· Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $288,061 in the Grants Fund to continue the <br />VictimANitness Assistance Program. <br /> <br />Purpose and Need: <br /> <br />· The Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved a grant in the amount of <br />$288,061 for the Commonwealth's Attorney's Victim/VVitness Assistance Program. <br /> <br />· This program provides comprehensive information and direct services to crime <br />victims and witnesses in accordance with the Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act and <br />other applicable victim's rights laws. <br /> <br />· This year's program will provide direct services to over 1,000 victims and 200 <br />witnesses. <br /> <br />· Last year, the VictimANitness Program provided services to 750 victims and 250 <br />witnesses. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br />· This is a reimbursable grant and there is no local match required. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to adopt the following <br />ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />"ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $288,061 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR THE <br />VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE <br />INFORMATION AND DIRECT SERVICES TO CRIME VICTIMS AND WITNESSES." <br /> <br /> <br />
