September 24, 2002 (a) A site plan shall be submitted and must be approved by the Director of Planning and Inspections prior to occupancy. (b) The Commission of Architectural Review must approve any exterior changes to the building prior to installation or construction of the changes. (c) Trash disposal for the facility shall be in accordance with a trash and refuse plan approved by the City Department of General Services prior to commencement of operations. Any change to the approved plan must be submitted to the Director of General Services or his designee and approved prior to implementation of the change. (d) The facility shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal regulations including required inspections, and all required permits and licenses and licenses shall be obtained and maintained in effect.. (¢) The facility's hours of operation shall be 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. 4. REVOCATION OF PERMIT: Violation of any of the above conditions may serve as grounds for revocation of the use permit by the City Council." There is no local match required. Recommendation: · Adoption of an ordinance to appropriate $288,061 in the Grants Fund to continue the VictimANitness Assistance Program. Purpose and Need: · The Department of Criminal Justice Services has approved a grant in the amount of $288,061 for the Commonwealth's Attorney's Victim/VVitness Assistance Program. · This program provides comprehensive information and direct services to crime victims and witnesses in accordance with the Crime Victim and Witness Rights Act and other applicable victim's rights laws. · This year's program will provide direct services to over 1,000 victims and 200 witnesses. · Last year, the VictimANitness Program provided services to 750 victims and 250 witnesses. Financial Impact: · This is a reimbursable grant and there is no local match required. Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to adopt the following ordinance, and was adopted by the following vote: "ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $288,061 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR THE VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION AND DIRECT SERVICES TO CRIME VICTIMS AND WITNESSES."
