Attaching~copy of a letter which he ha~i received from the Chairman of ~zhe Special <br />Water committee of Sufmolk, Va., Mr. J. Walter Hosier, in ~hich he suggested the purchase of <br />the Portsmouth, Berkley & Suffolk water Co. jointly by the cities of Portsmouth, Norfolk and <br />Suffolk. <br /> However, the City Mmm~ge~ recommended that we proceed along the lines as outlined by <br />the Special Water. Committee and the City Council. <br /> <br /> On motion, ~he recommendation o~ ~he City M~n~ger was s~lopted. <br /> <br /> Second.
