Katz, City'Attorney. <br /> <br /> Jenna Zann, 5th Grade Student, Shea Terrace Elementary <br />School, opened the meeting with prayer which was folloWed by <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br /> Mayor Webb called the meeting to order and welcomed all in <br />attendance. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Mr. Clemons, the <br />minutes of a Called meeting on November 29, 1994; a Called <br />Meeting on December 12, 1994; a Regular Meeting on January 12, <br />1994; a Called Meeting on December 13, 1994; a Regular Meeting <br />December 13, 1994; a called meeting on December 19, 1994; a <br />called meeting on December 19, 1994; a called meeting on <br />December 20, 1994; a called meeting on December 20, 1994; a <br />called meeting on January 3, 1995, be approved, and was adopted <br />by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />95-07 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Martin Bullock, Commonwealth Attorney, spoke on salary <br />increases for his staff. <br /> <br />- JOINT PUBLIC HEARINGS - <br /> <br />The following Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />members were present: <br /> <br />George Eberwine, Dorita Epps, Fred Fletcher, Diane Griffin, <br />Ernest Hardee, Lee King <br /> <br />95-08 - Joint public hearing with the Portsmouth Redevelopment <br />and Housing Authority to consider proposed Plan Amendments to <br />the Crawford, Hattonsville and Twin Pines Projects. <br /> <br />1. Randall Williams, 1504 Tree Ridge Road, Richmond, spoke in <br />opposition to acquisition of his property located in the Twin <br />Pines neighborhood. <br /> <br />95-09 - Public hearing for the purpose of obtaining citizens <br />views and co~ents on the 1995 proposed Consolidated Plan for <br />the City of Portsmouth and the opportunity to comment on the <br />Proposed Section 108 Loan Guarantee Initiative. <br /> <br />1. Harvey Johnson, Jr., 2400 Palmer Street, spoke on the Galaxy <br />Project. <br /> <br />2. Bruce Asbury, Portsmouth Community Development Group, <br />thanked the Commissioners for favorable consideration in the <br />proposed plan. <br /> <br />3. Raleigh Harsley, 2124 Peach Street, spoke on the Galaxy <br />Project. <br /> <br /> <br />
