<br />to the northern boundaryof West Norfolk in order to obtai~ water for Craney Island, and same
<br />was referred to the Special ~ater Cormuittee, City Manager, and Superintendent of the Portsmouth
<br />Water Department for consideration.

<br /> A communication was read from the City Clerk of Norfolk advising that the President of the
<br />Council of the City of Norfolk has named Messrs. C ~ E. Herbert, Chairman, H. L. Butler and J.
<br />~atts Martin as a Committee to consider with our Co~ittee the question of the Consolidation
<br />and A~nexatiom of Norfolk and PortSmouth.
