February 7, 1995 <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Hawks, and seconded by Mr. Pitts, to enter <br />into a contract with J. S. Baar, Ltd., and Rountree Construction <br />Company, Inc., for the Sleepy Hole Golf Course, Sleepy Hole <br />Park, and the Obici House, and was adopted by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Griffin, Hawks, Martin, Pitts, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 95-59 - The following item was discussed in the Public Work <br />Session: <br /> <br />1. Capital Improvement Plan <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, to go <br />intO Executive Session pursuant to provisions of Section 2.1-344 <br />of the Code of Virginia for the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Discussion or consideration of the use of real property <br />for public purpose or the disposition of publicly held real <br />property in the PortCentre portion of the City, as permitted <br />under Subsection (A) (3); <br /> <br /> (2) Discussion or consideration of the performance of City <br />Council appointees, as permitted under Subsection (A) {1). <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Hawks, <br />pursuant to Section 2.1-344.1 of the Code of Virginia certifying <br />that to the best of the Council member's knowledge during the <br />immediately preceding Executive Session of the City Council: <br /> <br /> (1) Only public business matters lawfully exempted from <br />open meeting requirements by the Virginia Freedom of Information <br />Act, and <br /> <br /> (2) Only such public business matters as were identified <br />in the motion by which the Executive Session was convened, were <br />heard, discussed or considered in the meeting by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> On motion meeting adjourned at 10:25 p.m. <br /> <br /> P OVED <br /> <br /> Mayor City Clerk <br /> <br />CMC/ AE <br /> <br />*Vice Mayor Johnny M.
