In <br />connection with which, the City M~nag~er reo.ommended adoption of a r.evised'~Traffi, c 0~din~nceo" <br /> It is recor~ended that the followmng amended Traffic 0rdmnance, submmttec by the <br />City Man~ger, be adopted: <br /> An 0~dinance to Amend and Re-ordain an 0rdir~nce to License and Hegulate <br />the Running of Automobiles, ~ocomobiles,~ ~otorc~cles, Stre~et Cars, ar~ all Other Vehicles and <br />Conveyances, Whose ~otive Power is Other than Animal Power, Along and Over the Streets of the <br />City of Portsmouth; to Provide Uniform .~R?~.- e~egu~lating the Lights, the Use, and the Speed There- <br />of, and to .Prescr~ibe Per~lties for the Vmolation of said Rules and Regulations; to Provide Rules <br />and Regulations Governing Automobiles Buses, Jitney Aut~obiles, and Taxi-Cabs Engaged in the <br />Transportation of Passengers; to Require a License and Bond of all Chauffeurs and Drive~s of Such <br />Buses, Jitneys, and TaEi-C~bs; and to Repeal so ~uch of Section 383 of the Municipal Code as is <br />in Conflict with this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Co~nunication submitted by the City Manager from J.
