<br />penditures made for the preceding month; and thmt all funds as far as praotiomble be expended

<br /> In connection with the Budget, the City M~n~ger submitted the following resolutions~

<br /> "BEFIT RESOLVED, That the City Ma~mger be authorized to immediately proceed with the
<br />trmnsferof theSewerage Pumping S~mtio~ ~ Rmce Ave. to the Water Department Pu~ping Station
<br />on Godwin St., at an approximmte cost o~.$15,000.00,
<br /> ~AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sum of $11,000. be deducted from the eszimate in
<br />the Budget for the Sewerage Pumpi~ Station, this being the probable saving resulting from
<br />the transfer m~ indicated above."

<br /> On motion, the resolution was'referred zo the Finance Department.

<br /> "RESOLVED, Thmt salaries mhd wages named herein so far as new, employees are concerned
<br />shall be considered ms a,~mximum ~nd nothing herein stated sh~ll be construed as prohibiting
<br />the City Mmnager in his aiscretion from hi~i~g new emplo~e, eaat other rates not lower than
<br />current rates existing in the City mt time of employment,"

<br />be laid On the table until the next reg$1ar meeting Of the Council.

<br />Mr. White then moved that th~ election of Mr. Bosman be made unmnimous; same was adopted.
