<br /> "Article 1, add a new section (f), as follows: No car. opera~ed under this Ordinance shall

<br /> "Paragraph ~6, add, 'Provided, however, a fare of ten cents per passenger may be charged
<br />for points on High street west of the Belt Line and to points in Port Norfolk.'"
<br />
<br />The motion by Mr. Whit~ was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />Ayes--,Brooks, Esleeok, Smith, Hall, Hutchins, Oast, White, 7.
<br />
<br /> Then Mr. Hall moved that the ordinance be amended by adding the words "City Ms~uager, or
<br />some person designated by the-CE%y Manager," after the words "Director of Public 8~fety."
<br /> The amendment was adopted by the following vote:

<br />Ayes-- Brooks, Esleeck, Smith, H~ll, Hutohins, Oast, White,
<br />
<br /> Mr. Brooks moved ~o amend by adding the words 'including s~ree~
<br />"vehicles," on Page 7,~ection y.
<br /> The amendment was lost by the following vote:

<br /> Mr. Esleeck moved that section 3, pages ~ and 5, be struck out, but Mr. Esleeck withdrew
<br />his motion.

<br /> Mr. White moved that the bond be reduced Zo $2,000.00. Mr. Esleeok moved
<br />the bond be reduced to $1~000.00.
<br /> Mr. Esleeok's sunendment was lost, and by the following vo~e:

<br />Then Mr. Brooks moved to amend, that the bond be reduoe~ to $1,500.O0.

<br />Finally, the motion by Mr. white was adopted, and by the

<br /> Mt.Halt moved that the following section be added to the o~dina~ce: "Jitney o'~ners shall

<br /> The motion was adopted, and by the following

<br /> Finally, Mr. ~hite moved that the ordinance
