<br />6?. GENERAL PROVISIONS

<br />vertise mny business in this City, it shall be considered prim¢ facie evidence of their lia-
<br />bility under this ordinance, and said person, firm, or corporation shall be required to take
<br />out a license for such business.

<br />ing the tax imposed, he or they shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more than $100. O0.and
<br />each d~y's fmilure to obtain the license after proper notice thereof shall constitute m sepa-
<br />rate offence.

<br /> Each person, firm or corporation requi=ed Zo pay a license tax under the provisions of
<br />this ordinance shall post and keep posted in m conspicuous place the receipt fqr s~id payment,
<br />and any one violating this provision shall be subject to a fine not l~ss than $2.00 mnd not
<br />more than $10.O0 for each and every day or part of a day that ~mid receipt is not kept posted.

<br /> ~t is made the duty of the Police Department to report to the Police Justice of the City
<br />any violation of this ordinmnce which may come under its notice.

<br /> Licenses issued to persons, firms or corporations just starting into business mfter
<br />July let may be pro rated, except licenses ~o non-resident persons, firms or corporations.
<br />
<br /> Each non-resident person, firm or corporation who may use our streets in pursuance of
<br />their business at least once ~ week shall pay the tax required by ~his ordinance.
<br />
<br />No fee shall be cha~ged for the issuing of licenses and no charge shall be made for tags.
<br />
<br />All ordinances o~ par~s of ordinmnoes in conflict with this ordinance ~re hereby repealed.
