Recommending th~ aB:~additional appropriation of $7,000.00 be made for repairing <br />breaks in sewers. <br /> On motion, the recommendation was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /> 3rd. Reported the appointment of Hr. Rowland Day, at $50,00 per month, as Director of <br />Playgrounds, effective June 21, 1921. <br /> On motion, the communication was ordered to be filed. <br /> <br /> 4th. Notice of appointment of A. S. Thomason as special Officer for the Norfolk & Rus- <br />sell Detective Agency, effective June 15th. <br /> On motion, the appointment was recommitted. <br /> <br /> 5th. Recommendation that the City Attorney be directed to tm~epare m deed in favor of <br />~. B. Hic~man, for lot in Oak Grove Cemetery, purchased by Hr. Hickman on April 8th, 1919. <br /> On motion, the City Attorney was directed to prepare such a deed for Mr. Hic~nan. <br /> <br /> <br />
