<br /> On motion, the recommendation was referred to the Finance Committee.

<br /> 3rd. Reported the appointment of Hr. Rowland Day, at $50,00 per month, as Director of
<br />Playgrounds, effective June 21, 1921.
<br /> On motion, the communication was ordered to be filed.
<br />
<br /> 4th. Notice of appointment of A. S. Thomason as special Officer for the Norfolk & Rus-
<br />sell Detective Agency, effective June 15th.
<br /> On motion, the appointment was recommitted.

<br /> 5th. Recommendation that the City Attorney be directed to tm~epare m deed in favor of
<br />~. B. Hic~man, for lot in Oak Grove Cemetery, purchased by Hr. Hickman on April 8th, 1919.
<br /> On motion, the City Attorney was directed to prepare such a deed for Mr. Hic~nan.
