<br /> Recommendation of the City Manager that a special appropriation of $1,500, be allowed
<br />for purchase of vehicles for collection of trash and gaa~bage, in order to effect a saving of
<br />about $6,O00. per year in the collection of trash and garbmge~
<br /> It is recommended thatthe City Manager be allowed to make this expenditure out:of
<br />appropriation for Stables.
<br />
<br /> Request of the City Man,get that an appropriati~n of $200. be allowed to take care:of
<br />second shift at the Incinerator, on account of the large i~crease in the amount of garbage
<br />Qolleoted during the summer months.
<br /> It is reoommended that a special appropriation of $200[ be allowed for this purpose.

<br /> Recommendation of the City Manager on retiring Noah Hoffler and Joseph Pate, formez em-

<br />State and ity, wo~d recommend that we suggest to the ~ayor of Richmond that this matter'

<br /> Mr. White moved that the report of the Committee be adopted. Mr. Hall moved, to amend,
<br />that the Council go on record ~s favoring the segregation of taxes as mentioned in May~Ain-
<br />slie's letter, real estate and ~ngible personal property to be segregated to the City and
<br />all other segregated to the State, smd th~ the ~ayo~ of Richmond and our deiega~es ~o, the
<br />League of Virginia Municipalities be so informe~.~
