<br /> 10th. Request that he be granted leave of absence from November 23-28th, inclusive. On motion of Mr. Esleeck, the request was g~anted. ~
<br /> llth. Recommending the approval of a jitney route to be designated as ~5, from the ferry
<br />to Dinwiddie street, to South, to Prentis avenue, to Duke, to Elm avenue to Deep Creek Boule-
<br />yard, to the Cit~ limits, re~rning via the same route, and that the number of busses on this
<br />route for the Dresent ~e limited to two.
<br /> M~r B~eks moved that the recommendation be ad, pred. Mr. Esleeck moved to amend,
<br />tha~ the Co~ncil concur in the Manmger's recommendation, that.the City Manager be authorized
<br />to procead with the establishment of the route and the City A~torney be instructed to prepare
<br />an ordinance covering same.

<br /> The regular repcrt~ of the City Auditor and Ctty Collector for the month of October, 1921,
<br />were presented and were referred to the Finance Committee.

<br /> A communication was read from the City Attorney enblosing a check for $1050.OO from J.
<br />Lewis Thomas, which Mr. Thomas had turned over te him, to cov~r the amount ef bail fees as-
<br />certained by the Court to have been collected by the Civil & Police Justice while h~ding such
<br />office.
<br /> On motion of Mr. Brooks, the said check was accepted and the city Clerk was instructed
<br />to deposit same with the City Collector.
